October signals the beginning of Breast Cancer Awareness month and we at METFitness love to help in hosting Zumbathons in different communities.
Our instructors all volunteer their time to come together and plan a variety of exciting dance routines that keeps the community dancing for a good cause.
This year we were happy to host a Zumbathon at the Eagle Creek Community in Lake Nona on October 26th.
People in the community came out to support the cause of raising awareness about breast cancer by dancing together with their friends and neighbors and donating what they could.
The Zumbathon is free to all who want to dance for the cause and have a great time. METFitness donates all the supplies and resources for the event. Even METFitness’ own instructors donate their time to raise awareness and host the event, keeping none of the proceeds in order to make sure we donate the most we can. 100% of all donations are given to the Susan G. Komen Cancer Research Foundation with each event hosted, including our event that was held yesterday.
If you are interested in hosting a Zumbathon in 2017 for Breast Cancer Awareness, or any other important cause, please contact us on our web page at metfitnessflorida.com .
