Summer Noodle Time

Now that summer is here, it is time to be cool about staying fit!

Water is the key to survival. Drink it to stay hydrated and have fun exercising in the water using a noodle.

Try these 3 easy moves…..

Noodle Punch

Get into the shallow end of the pool and hold a noodle knotted with both hands, palms facing down. Push the noodle know down in the water in front of you and then next, down to the left and, then again, down to the right. The harder you push, the better the workout. Extend your arms and push the noodles straight out in front of you. Pull them back to your chest and repeat 15 times.

To tone your abs and legs, wrap the noodle around your waist and under your arms. Bring the ends forward and hang onto them with your hands. Start by extending your legs, keeping them together and floating with your toes pointing toward the bottom of the pool. Contract your abs and lift your knees toward your chest as far as you can. Pause and then reverse back to the starting position to complete. Try to repeat 15 times.

Noodle Kicks

To tone your legs, wrap the noodle around your waist, and float sitting up. Now kick backwards across the pool. Turn, and reverse and kick to the other side. Pause and then reverse back to the starting position to complete. Try to repeat 15 times.
